HORSEMANSHIP FROM THE GROUND UP

(ages 10+)

We offer sessions designed to meet your individual needs, on our relaxed and peaceful farm.  Our schedule is flexible.  We can teach you:

• how to be safe around horses
  

• how to catch a horse
  

• basic horse anatomy
  

• what, when and how to feed a horse
  

• grooming
  

• tacking up
  

• saddle fit, bits, and bitless bridles
  

• how to be balanced on a horse
  

• riding a horse at the walk/trot in a round pen
  

• horse economics
  

• natural horsemanship basics and ground manners
  

You should sign up for these sessions if:

• you want to get back to horses...you miss the smells, sounds and feel of them
  

• you have never really been around horses, and want to learn about them
  

• you want to be around horses but aren't interested in buying or leasing one
  

• you are interested in buying, or full/ partial leasing a horse
  

• you have heard about natural horsemanship techniques and want to learn more
  

• you want your child/grandchild to learn about horses in a safe, relaxed environment
  

Fee:  $35 for 45 minutes for 2 persons maximum.
